Specimen example of the Korean War campaign medal. The obverse design was by M G Gillick and reverse design by Edward Carter Preston - note respectively the initials 'MG' at base of Royal effigy on the obverse and 'E.CRP. to left of reverse design. The medal was awarded to British Commonwealth Forces for their services in repelling Communist aggression in Korea between 2 July 1950 and 10 June 1953.
