Whole: description: VARIANT & (SEE) WEA 1122.
Hilt form: larger version, in polished brass, of that for WEA 1122. Grip of black fishskin, over ribbed wood, bound by thirteen double strands of steel wire. Right side of grip is adorned with the crowned Royal cypher of King Wilhelm II, "WRII". A broad plain brass ferrule separates grip from guard. The large three-bar outer guard is fixed and bears the Prussian eagle. The small solid inner guard is well turned over to protect wearer's uniform.
Blade form: configuration as WEA 1122, fitted with leather buff piece.
