Der Militärkritiker der 'New York Times' erklärt:
'Man muss neue deutsche Triumphe in Russland erwarten.
Der New Yorker Sender erklärte:

[Forebodings...! Responsible for the content: W. Wächter, Berlin, successors to Franz Eher, Publisher, Munich. The military correspondent
of the New York Times states: 'We must expect new German triumphs in Russia. Hitler is forgoing all sensational victories and directing his
troops' thrust at areas that bring him solid, undoubted gains. It cannot be denied that Germany is militarily far superior to the Allies on
the Eastern Front.' The New York broadcasting station stated: 'The U-boat blockade means great misfortune and extreme danger for us. If
things carry on like this, with the copper from Chile and Peru, the aluminium from Dutch Guiana and the manganese ore and other products
from Brazil ending up at the bottom of the sea instead of being able to be brought here for our industry, it is very possible that we will
lose the war.' How badly things must be going for them for such subdued outbreaks of anxiety to slip out from the normally so loud-mouthed
Yankees. Things will carry on like this, they can rely on that. The German armed forces will inflict further blows on them until they lie
on the ground annihilated. Final victory is ours!]
