The design applies a scheme of black, white, olive, light grey and dark grey. The design incorporates large irregular sweeps in black, white, light grey and dark grey. The bow end of the design, including the superstructure, is rendered in black, white and light grey. The stern end is predominantly olive with a large block of black running across it. The large central section incorporates an intricate design with a large area of black with distinctive shapes joined to it which run up into the superstructure. There is one particularly distinctive shape in dark grey in the middle of the design which falls on both the hull and the second funnel. These dark shapes could suggest the outline of a slightly smaller vessel, with shapes that could be false funnels and even false smoke shown in black.
