image: a caricature of Kaiser Wilhelm II looking over a wall dividing Germany and France. On the German side of the wall are stockpiles of
artillery guns, howitzers, ammunition shells, poison gas and Benzol (a highly flammable chemical). The figure of Death can be seen in the
background. On the French side of the wall a farmer and his family harvest their crops. The scythe held by the farmer echoes the scythe
held by Death.
