Photographs of the I Polish Corps in Scotland during the Second World War taken by various Polish official photographers. . The collection depicts mainly (c. 90%) service of the 1st Polish Corps in Scotland between 1940 and 1947. Other topics include Polish units in France prior to German Invasion of France 1940, Battle of Narvik 1940, Polish soldiers in Siberian camps after their release from Soviet captivity. Original prints which cannot be matched to negatives are segregated into 75 envelopes according to topics. Original prints which are matched to negatives are held in two separate boxes.
