Locations are the War Office building on Whitehall; Alexandra Palace; Cornwall House; Embankment Annexe; the Imperial Institute; Park Buildings; Pilgrim Street; Victory Place and Winchester House. Physical description
Large 380mm x 480mm hard backed green leather covered album with black spine and corners. Front cover embossed in gold with 'WAR OFFICE' and 'W. Brooks & Son 19 Ilminster Garden Clapham Junction SW'. Inside cover green with gold floral motif. Front cover detached and spine damaged. Scuffing around the edges. Black and white prints mounted (some prints have become unadhered with age) onto grey/blue album pages with handwritten annotations in blue ink on white labels. Tears to some album pages.
