Black and white photographic prints relating to the Imperial German Army on the Western Front during the First World War. The photographs include a group of staff officers of the VII Reserve Corps with their commander General Johann Hans von Zwehl; the view from a loophole looking towards Soissons whilst the town is under bombardment; an interior and exterior view of Marchais Chateau and German troops in the grounds of a ruined glass bottle making factory at Vauxrot.

Black and white photographic prints with typescript and handwritten annotations on the reverse in German and Engliash. Also photographers and journalists ink stamps (Franz Otto Koch and Oscar Tellgmann).
