Black and white photographs covering the voyage of British soldiers by troopship between the UK and Japan just after the Korean War. The collection includes a number of images of a Royal Navy cruiser in Colombo harbour, Ceylon in January 1955 and one of British soldiers at Tokyo airport in November 1954.

Black and white photographic prints with annotations handwritten in ink on the reverse of four prints and HU reference numbers in pencil on the reverse of 6 prints.
