A series of photographs, mostly mounted on paper leaves detailing the construction of the dockyard at (HM Naval Base) HMNB Singapore, particularly its extension and refurbishment in the early 1940s. Also included are comparitive shots taken in 1947, some of which show extensive bomb damage from the Second World War. Scenes include:

Loose, foolscap paper leaves with attached photographs, affixed by adhesive tape. Some typed, some handwritten annotations.
History note
This folio was collated by the Captain of the Yard and Queen's Habour Master for HMNB Singapore Captain Anthony Cooke RN in response to an instruction issued in 1969 by Rear Admiral I Mclaughlan, Chief of Staff to the Commander-in-Chief Far East Fleet, to record the naval base's history before its rundown and closure which had been announced in the 1968 Defence Review.
