Reminders of the Second World War in the country particularly by the British Military Cemtery at Keren, Erirea (c.1946) and images of the Cross dedicated to the Italian General Lorenzini which was positioned at Fort Dologorodo high above the site of the Keren battlefield. Images relating the British Military Administration and its officers, particularly Lt Colonel Gerald Kenneth Nicholas Trevaskis, the political secretary to the BMA in Eritrea; including a group photograph of BMA Staff and local dignitaries, Reardon with Trevaskis attending a local ceremony as representatives of the BMA, attending a local school sports day in Keren, the Keren football team including Reardon (c.1948), A Drumhead Service for St George's Day in Asmara, (1950). Trevaskis in the Western Provinces after returning to Eritrea to receive a presentational sword and other gifts 'from local people' and attending a dinner to mark the occasion (Aug 1952).
