Black and white photographic prints relating to the Oxford University half squadron (1 and 2 Troops) of 'C' Squadron of King Edward's Horse (The King's Overseas Dominions Regiment) in 1911 and 1912. Photographs show activities at summer camps at Aldershot (1911), Shorncliffe (1912) and field days near Oxford between 1910 - 1913. A number of the soldiers are named, including Squadron Sergeant Major MacDonnell of 'C' Squadron. There are also a number of formal and informal group photographs taken at Shorncliffe Camp including: the regiment mounted; Major Hermon and NCOs of 'C' Squadron and members of 1 and 2 Troops of 'C' Squadron and members of the Sergeants Mess, plus wives and visitors, on fete day
