ARMY FILM AND PHOTOGRAPHIC UNIT VETERANS OF THE SECOND WORLD WAR, 2005
Former AFPU Sergeant Paul Clark photographed with his wartime memorabilia by WO Giles Penfound, Chief Photographer of the successor to the AFPU, the Royal Logistic Corps Media Operations Unit, for a project to mark the 50th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.
Paul Clark was one of the last AFPU cameramen to be trained at Pinewood Studios and posted overseas. He served with No 9 Section in the Far East from 1945 onwards, covering the Japanese war crimes trials, post war reconstruction and the reclamation British of territories in the Far East. After leaving the Army, Paul Clark continued to work as a photographer and, as Secretary of the AFPU Veterans Association, to secure the history of the Army Film and Photographic Unit.
