THE SERVICE OF MURIEL DE WEND IN THE FIRST AID NURSING YEOMANRY.
Muriel and a group of FANY members stand with one of two Ford vehicles, which they called 'Satan' and 'Lucifer'. They were part of the first FANY convoy to be attached to the No. 8 (Michelham) Home for convalescent soldiers. They were drivers for the home for two months from January to Febrary 1918. They are, from left to right: Puppy, Squig, Norah, Gertie, Winnie and Muriel.
