Object description
It is almost impossible to precisely date a majority of the photographs depicting Hitler's tours of the Polish Front. He used a train as HQ, making a number of car journeys to various parts of the front. His first trip was on 4 September, with others following on 5, 10, 13, 15, 18 and 19 September. He returned to Berlin on 26 September, returning to Poland by air for the victory parade in Warsaw on 5 October 1939.
