LITTLE UGANDA BOY IS FLYING BOAT STATION MASCOT, UGANDA, C. APRIL 1943
In Uganda, on the River Nile, British Overseas Airways Corporation has a flying-boat station at Laropi. A small boy from the village has been adopted as a mascot and has been named "Silver". He is very proud of his uniform and always accompanies the motor-launch when it attends the flying-boat.
