A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE DEPUTIES OF NATO, HELD TO MARK THE THIRD ANNIVERSARY OF NATO, LONDON, 4 APRIL 1952.

To mark the third anniversary of NATO and to welcome Lord Ismay as Secretary-General and Vice-Chairman of the Council, a special meeting of the Deputies was held at NATO headquarters in Belgrave Square, London. This meeting was also the last before NATO moved to its new headquarters in Paris. Here His Excellency M. Andre de Staercke, the Belgian Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary to the United Kingdom and Belgian Representative to the NATO Council of Deputies, addresses the meeting.
