Object description
A British Aerospace Sea Harrier FRS.1 (ZA177) of 800 Naval Air Squadron, landing on HMS INTREPID on 13 June 1982. The Sea Harrier was being piloted by Lt Simon Hargreaves when shortly after the Battle for Tumbledown it was unable to use the HMS SHEATHBILL temporary airstrip on the Falkland Islands and lacked the fuel to return to HMS HERMES. It therefore diverted to HMS INTREPID.
