Squadron Leader Pujji prepares to take the former German test pilot Hanna Reitsch, for a flight in his glider during her visit to India after the Second World War. Pujji was a keen glider pilot, in spite of the fact that, following his illness of 1947, he was still not technically regarded as fit to fly. He became Honorary Chief Gliding Instructor of the Rajasthan Flying Club (established in 1953).
