One album containing photographs covering the Cross River Column of the Cameroon Expeditionary Force, November 1914 - February 1916. These include portraits of African soldiers and British officers of the 3rd Nigerian Regiment, images of Fort Ossidinge (captured from the Germans on 1 January 1915), bridges over the Mbo and Bali rivers, men of the 3rd Nigerian Regiment in action, Fort Bamenda, machine gun positions at the Bamburu Pass, a German POW, scenes in the village of Bamum, view of Nsanakang including cemetery (scene of British defeat 6 September 1914), former German tug FREDA on the Cameroon River at Duala and French cruisers off Dakar, Senegal.
