1 album covering the work of John Savage and colleagues at Dannes, Pas de Calais, France 1920-1922 at what had been No 19 Ordnance Depot. Their job was to break up equipment, defuse shells etc on site. In the two years 11 were killed and 14 injured mostly due to cordite igniting, 5 died from gas contamination. The photographs show in excellent detail the equipment used on the site.
