Photograph album, loose photographic prints and postcards covering the British Army of Occupation in Germany following the end of the First World War. The majority of the photographs cover visits by senior British and French officers and associated inspections and parades in Cologne. Individuals include: Field Marshal Sir William Robertson, General Henri Joseph Etienne Gouraud, Marshal Ferdinand Foch. Also demonstration of tanks and scenes from a military horse show including judging of best turned out field kitchen and the firing of field guns along the River Rhine in Cologne to mark Peace Day 28 June 1919.
Multi-coloued cloth covered photograph album with 'Snapshots' in gold lettering within a gold circle on lower right corner of front cover. The album type is a 'Lion Brand' 'Snapshot album'. End papers are green marbled type. Black and white photographic prints are glued to album pages. There are no annotations. Also a number of loose black and white prints and postcards - all unannotated.
