Neumont worked during the war first on camouflage and later on propaganda. His drawing were distributed in the
trenches and he also designed posters for the 'Journee du Poilu' and for the plight of homeless families in the devastated regions. This
poster is particularly interesting for the small hand-drawn caricature of a German in the corner.
