War Photography and Planning for Danger

Sergey Ponomarev has photographed conflicts in Afghanistan, Syria, Libya and Lebanon. Reporting from areas affected by war involves a certain amount of personal risk but for Ponomarev the need to record unfolding events outweighs the danger.
