Nous vous suivrons de nos vœux et nous attendrons, avec une confiance dans l'avenir, que la France régénérée reprenne le cours de sa grande destinée. We yet again declare null and void a treaty that disposes of us without our consent. Reclaiming our rights remains forever open to each and every one of us in the form and to the extent that our conscience dictates. At the time of leaving this chamber where our dignity no longer allows us to sit, and despite the bitterness of our grief, the supreme thought we find in our innermost hearts is one of gratitude towards those who for six months unceasingly defended us, and of unfailing attachment to the Motherland from which we have been violently snatched. We will follow you with our wishes and will wait, with confidence in the future, for a regenerated France to resume the course of its great destiny.
