image: The gold statue of the Goddess of Victory at the top of the Victory Column. She carries a wreath in her right hand
and a sceptre in her left. Parachuters fill the sky, each carrying Allied flags, the parachutes themselves coloured to match the flags.
The column was erected in 1871 to celebrate the Prussian army's victory over the French which led to the unification of
Germany. Allied Forces Day was an annual event.
