Amateur film shot by Mrs Frances Macaulay, a public relations officer in the North West of England for the Guides, records from a privileged viewpoint several overseas tours made by the Chief Scout Sir Robert Baden-Powell and his wife Lady Olave, the Chief Guide of the World.

Reel 1: (label marking) "Calgaric cruise , 12-29 August 1933" [Kodak stock 1933] known as "The Peace Cruise". Voyage to the Baltic countries, where Sir Robert and Lady Olave are welcomed with great enthusiam by the local youth already enrolled in their own national scouting movements, as in Poland. Uniformed youths and girls raise their right hands in Nazi salute as they parade past on a beach beside the Baltic. (9 mins)

Reel 2: "Orduna Adriatic Cruise" [Kodak stock 1933] Voyage to Gibraltar, scenes ashore, then cruising to South of France (Marseille), where Sir Robert and Lady Olave lay wreath at WWI Memorial. Entering Grand Harbour, Valletta and ashore in Malta, attebndning scout and guide gatherings. Ashore in Arab country (probably Algeria), and scenes of Guide commissioners on board ship. (10 mins)
