Gunners of 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery take part in Operation Leah, a search and destroy mission as the Marines advance towards Basra.
Artillery firing line next to desert road, most likely the Main Supply Route (MSR). There are several 105mm guns in the gunline, manned by members of 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery. Computer is used to plot coordinates (targets in Basra). One of the gun crews packs shells back into their containers and load them into a support vehicle; however, other guns are trained and fired. Sea King helicopter in zebra pattern camouflage flies past with an underslung loads. Preparation of gun: coordinates are shouted, the gun is loaded and fired several times.
