OPERATION TELIC, IRAQ, 2003: 40 COMMANDO ROYAL MARINES IN ACTION (COMBAT CAMERA TEAM TAPE) [Allocated Title]
Members of 40 Commando Royal Marines encounter resistance in Iraq. Shot with an image intensifier, showing a circular image and a monochrome green glow.
Commandos move along road on foot at night. Crouching behind cover, they fire at enemy positions; in the middle distance a burning building can be seen behind a wire fence, and the sound of a Chinook helicopter can be heard. Tracer fire briefly illuminates the air. As the firing dies down, Marines advance slowly towards the burning building (although camera position remains static; blurry shots as the camera zooms in. The fire continues to rage. Firing recommences in the distance, behind the silhouette of a toppled telegraph pole.
