At the Singapore Municipal Building military police motorcyclists pass camera before Mountbatten's limousine arrives. A view from the building's steps looking down on Mountbatten's car arriving (lower right corner of the frame is obscured). Mountbatten gets out of the car, cut to street level with waiting senior officers. Unit of Royal Navy sailors presenting arms. Cut to an Indian officer (probably of 1st Battalion 17th Dogra Regiment) at the salute with his men presenting arms behind. High shot Mountbatten taking the salute. The Indian soldiers slope arms.
