Interview with Major Gary Thomas DCOS (Deputy Chief of Staff) of the Bastion Support Group, discussing the expansion of the camp; behind him an equipment support facility is being built (which will contain vehicle workshops for the refurbishment of vehicles). The development of the hospital facilities - a new "tier two" facility - and a water bottling plant are also discussed (there is a large acquifer below Camp Bastion). A Bastion 2 is also being constructed and is described - total size of 1700 acres. Danish soldiers will be among those accommodated in Bastion 2.
