Street-level shot; General Christison (commander XV Indian Corps) arrives at the Cathay Building accompanied by an unidentified brigadier. High shot overlooking a church (?) with civilians milling about. At Serangoon prisoner of war (POW) camp Indian former prisoners pick through bundles of vegetation 'weed[ing] out daily food' (from the dopesheet). Former prisoners tending their vegetable patch. Four emaciated prisoners, each suffering from beri-beri, sitting on a bench awaiting attention from a medical officer. They are named as Sepoy Chandu Ram (2nd Battalion 10th Baluch Regiment), Sepoy Din Mohammed (Bengal Sappers and Miners), Sepoy Wali Mohammed (2nd Battalion 10th Baluch Regiment) and Sepoy Haji Mohammed (3rd Indian Anti-Aircraft Regiment).
