Tape 3. Recruit Rowena Driscoll is interviewed in her room following the Kit Muster, general views of the room and kit laid out ready for inspection, followed by interviews with several recruits. They are asked about daily life during training, whether use of mobile telephones is allowed and how they keep in touch with their friends and family. Interviews with Dwayne Peters, Gina Taylor, Operator Mechanic (OM) Triona Brown, OM2 Eddie Brand and Steve Webb.

Tape 4. A large group of recruits dressed in civilian clothes arrive at a social venue for a night out, followed by clips from the event. Some recruits are filmed shopping in their local Supermarket, followed by footage of The Raleigh Club, where they play snooker, relax and socialise. A recruit is medically assessed and another recruit is treated by the Dental Officer on site. The Divisional Training Officer interviews recruit N. Jackson. Interview with Lieutenant Tony Case about what potential recruits should consider before starting their basic training. Footage of physical training in the gym followed by an interview with Petty Officer (PT) Jules Werner, who is an instructor at Raleigh. Interviews with Lieutenant Rachael Redman (Divisional Officer, Cornwall Division) and Petty Officer Bobby Ball (an instructor with Cornwall Division).
