Explosive charges are detonated on desert ranges.
Damaged Snatch Land Rover is removed from a flatbed truck using a heavy duty fork lift truck; it is then taken onto the range and placed in position for use as a target. A charge is then prepared on an explosive device which will blast against the side of the Land Rover. Extended static shot (last ca 20 minutes) from medium distance of the Land Rover in place, then a large explosion throws up a cloud of dust. After the dust disperses, shrapnel damage is revealed on the side of the vehicle. After a safe length of time, the explosives team move in to inspect the Land Rover. Close-ups of damage, which is photographed by still photographer. An iIraqi shell is then prepared for detonation on the range; charge is put in place and PE4 explosive packed around the nose.
