Testing of explosives against a variety of built targets on a desert range.
I. Close-ups of small target bunkers made from breezeblocks; "Builds 3 and 2" have "roofs" of wood and sandbags, the third "Build 1" has a "roof" made of custom brace panels intended for "individual overhead protection" (according to the label on a panel). Bar of explosive is placed alongside with target. A Corrimec hut is also prepared with breezeblock individual shelters inside. Long shot of range: explosives are detonated at intervals against the four builds. Close-up of Corrimec, which has been heavily damaged along one side, but the shelters within are intact. The sandbagged builds 3 and 2) have been demolished, Build 1 has the breezeblocks disturbed but the bracing panel is largely intact.
II. The four builds are reconstructed. Long shot of the range: detonations are shown (Build 3, Build 2, Build 1 and Corrimec). Close-ups of the aftermath: all four targets are badly damaged.
