Full description
A Whirlwind search and rescue helicopter is scrambled to fly a wounded crewman from a vessel at sea to hospital; the helicopter picks up the man, develops a problem and is forced to land at the airfield, where the casualty is transferred to an ambulance and the maintainers correct the defect in the Whirlwind. Ratings are then shown training as electrical engineers at the shore establishment HMS Collingwood, while marine engineers train at another shore establishment, HMS Caledonia and aircraft engineers at the naval air station HMS Daedalus, working on various aircraft, including Sea Hawk fighters; several men look over a Royal Navy Sea King helicopter after it lands at the station.
