Troops from various Royal Engineer regiments in training at the village in Copehill Down (near Warminster) prior to deployment in Bosnia and Croatia.
Gazelle helicopter training, discussing the best way to enter the helicopter (avoiding the blades) and methods of guiding the helicopter from the ground using arm signals (scenes from within the helicopter in flight and also from the ground). Instructor advises on the use of radio. Gazelle helicopter featured is from 658 Squadron (Volunteers), Army Air Corps. Scenes in Copehill Down training village: casualty evacuation, scaling walls and crossing between buildings on wooden struts.
