CHARITY JET-SKI JOURNEY FROM PORTRUSH, NORTHERN IRELAND, TO THE MULL OF KINTYRE, SCOTLAND [Allocated Title]
Members of 8th Battalion the Royal Irish Regiment take part in a jet-ski challenge for Portrush to the Mull of Kintyre in aid of the Royal Victoria Hospital for Sick Children, Belfast and the Oaklands Assessment and Respite Centre, Armagh.
(Tape 1) Preparation scenes of jet-skis in Portrush harbour (the journey is to be from Portrush via Ballycastle to Keel Point on the Mull of Kintyre). Interviews with Lieutenant-Colonel Farren Drury and Sergeant Major Ferguson of 8th Battalion the Royal Irish Regiment. Jet-skis set off and are seen in the bay (possibly a practice): shots are from both another jet-ski and from the shore.
(Tape 2) Exterior views of Royal Victoria Hospital for Sick Children. Inside, an army officer is with one of the patients, David Adams, who is seen playing video games. David is waiting for a telephone call from the Mull of Kintyre to announce the completion of the jet-ski task. He answers the telephone when it rings; afterwards, he is interviewed.
