Unedited films of the former governor of the Falkland Islands, Sir Rex Hunt, visiting RAF personnel in West Germany and viewing weapons captured from the Argentinians during the Falklands War.
I. Sir Rex Hunt, meeting RAF 2729 (City of Lincoln) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force Regiment, of whom he is honorary Air Commodore, and Royal Canadian Air Force personnel. Sir Rex discusses the Regiment's plans for the future with Squadron Leader Kemp. Sir Rex speaks with a Canadian officer on coordinating operations with the RAF and exchange visits between the two forces. He then goes on to view anti-aircraft guns captured from the Argentinians during the Falklands War and used by the Regiment to defend airfields. Sir Rex views a demonstration by the guns and aircraft early warning systems.
II.
