(Part 1) Gustav VI Adolf, King of Sweden, visits HMS Bulwark. HM arrives in Royal Barge; on lift to flight deck. Guard Commander reports to King; HM inspects Guard and Division, and is presented to ratings. HM departs in barge, men cheering ship; guns fire Royal Salute.

(Parts 2 and 3) HMS Bulwark's crew visit Stockholm. LM(E) Freeman, N/A Clarke, L/Sea Baker, ME1 Morley walk across bridge. City Hall of Stockholm; sailors on bridge; water traffic passing beneath. Waterfront: Swedish naval training ship, aircraft carrier, Tyne, Apollo, Olna, submarine, two frigates. The four ratings visit Tiller girls at Variety Theatre; Girls doing a Navy number and a cowboy act - the four ratings are brought on stage and ride horses (winning sailors given prize). The four go to stage door for autographs; dressing room; autographs signed. Tiller Girls on jetty awaiting boat and on flight deck of Bulwark. The Girls are shown jet aircraft, and climb on wearing brief nautical dress, flying helmets and Mae Wests. No 6 Drill Squad Royal Marines, with the Royal Marine and Highland Light Infantry Band (in kilts) give a display at Klocktornet Stadium: Band and Drill Squad march in; shots of VIPs and crowd. RSM West shouts commands; Scottish dancers. Band and Drill Squad march off.

(Part 4) Taken in HMS Tyne. General view ships of Home Fleet with Swedish Fast Patrol Boats; flypast of Swedish Air Force jets. Guard and band of Coastal Artillery Regiment No 1 (Swedish) salute ships. HMS Tyne fires 21-gun salute in honour of King; salute returned by Kastellholmen Battery. HM ships enter Stockholm harbour; South African Minister to Sweden salutes C-in-C Home Fleet on board Tyne. Bulwark dressing ship for King's visit; Bulwark cheering ship as the King's barge passes down port side. HMS Tyne's children's party (ratings dressed as pirates). Soccer match between Home Fleet and Swedish Navy at the stadium, Sturevagen (HF won 4-2) Royal Marine Band and Band of the Highland Light Infantry, with Royal Marine Squad march through Stockholm to Sturevagen Stadium followed by Drill display and Combined bands.
