Hungarian film on Emperor Franz Josef, informal with his court at the spa of Bad-Ischl, Austria, probably about 1912.
The Emperor stands with members of his court, including Prince Rainer, waiting outside one of his palaces. Coaches arrive and the party drives off. The coaches arrive at Bad-Ischl. The Emperor and the King of Bavaria get out of the first coach, and the King of Saxony gets out of the second one. The men are wearing hunting dress. The Emperor and the King of Bavaria re-emerge and board a train. When the train stops in a small village the Emperor gets out to the cheers of the local people; he waves to them as he gets into another horse-drawn carriage.
