The battalion is drawn up outside its barracks, somewhere near London. The wife of the brigadier-general commanding the depot presents boxes of shamrocks to the officers, and they in turn pass among the men handing out the shamrocks. The men give three cheers.
Currie, commanding the Canadian Corps, stands in the open with his staff behind him. A Belgian officer (back to camera) makes the presentation, and the two men shake hands.
