(Reel 1) Searchlight battery at night - beams weave about and spotlight moored destroyers. Admirals Beatty and Rodman onboard HMS Queen Elizabeth. Scenes onboard HMS Canada - divine service (Glorious Class battle cruiser in background), PT, re-victualling, ammunitioning, etc. Close-up of fresh water distillation apparatus - a rating chips salt from the condenser coils. Engine room scenes - men stoke and rake out boilers. Rum, soap, and tobacco rations are distributed. Sick bay. Deck games. Close-up of Challenge Cup for pulling boats of capital ships. (Reel 2) British and American marines go ashore for drill and inspection. Coaling and refuelling HMS Canada. Pan over fleet anchorage and medium long shot of Iron Duke Class battleship with superimposed binocular effect. (Reel 3) Medium shots of Allied battleships - Queen Elizabeth, Wyoming, New York, and Royal Sovereign Classes. Ships of 1st and 2nd Battle Squadrons pass beneath Forth bridge: HMS Canada, Emperor of India, Benbow, Iron Duke, Conqueror. Destroyer pens - track past HMS Vampire, Rob Roy, Ready, and Rocket. Destroyers at sea in line ahead: Admiralty W Class, R Class, Later Marksman Class Leader, etc. "The Cradle of the Deep": destroyers in line astern in heavy weather.
