Pétain shakes hands with bishop outside church which is decorated with Dakar banner. In Toulon Admiral de Laborde presents medals to civilian defenders of Dakar, after inspecting sailors on parade. Medals are held by sailor from Chamois and one is awarded to sailor from Commandant Teste. In Algiers General Weygand, Delegate-General in North Africa, reviews troops at marchpast by spahis.

III. Spanish girls enjoy Falangist seaside holiday. Youth organisation of the Falange, the Flechas, offers children from the interior a month's vacation at Santa Pitri (?) in province of Cadiz. Young girls wearing scarves run into the sea, play ball and run in circles on sand under guidance of leaders wearing Falange symbol on their vests.

Hitler steps forward to greet Ciano. Party later emerges from glass-fronted room and guests take their leave, with interpreter Dr Schmidt between them.

Petrol tins are unloaded and stored in a huge depot. Stukas take off for an attack on Soviet columns and fortifications, diving with typical scream and releasing bombs.
