I. British mines on Dutch coast. Specialist troops of the Dutch Army defuse British mines washed up daily in their dozens on the Dutch coast. IV. Reconnaissance operation on Western Front. Commentary reports lively activity in advance areas as film shows soldier in look-out post in wood and exercise in open country. V. Fighter pilots describe victory over RAF bombers. Bf 109Es of Jagdgeschwader Schumacher wag their wings as they return after the greatest air battle of the war. Thirty-six out of fifty-two of Britain's latest bombers were reportedly shot down as they approached the German coast. Airmen rush forward to meet returning comrades. Pilot climbs out of cockpit of Bf 109E marked with penguin emblem. Two pilots, Oberleutnant Lent and Gollub, are lifted shoulder high across the airfield, then Lent describes (live) how they shot down enemy and forced one to crash-land on Borkum. Commander of Staffel addresses men (live), congratulating his pilots although not all are back yet.

VI. Seaplanes check neutral shipping. Heinkel He 60s take off to check the cargoes of vessels off the German coast. Two He 59B-2s (Küstenfliegergruppe 506) continue patrol and pass low over two clearly marked Danish cargo vessels, Bergenhus and Nordborg. Observer of He 59B-2 throws down a note ordering latter to stop before landing alongside another ship, Herakles from Finland. Captain shows loading papers. Another ship, Thule from Sweden, ignores order to stop and receives burst of machine gun fire from open nose of He 59B-2 before allowing search party in dinghy to approach. Germans fire flare and ship is reportedly taken to port. Aerial view of wrecked Swedish vessel Alcot is supposed testimony to power of Luftwaffe and Navy, as engine room and deck scenes of U-boat at sea and montage of partial views of Möwe Class torpedo boat Seeadler and early light cruiser end item on triumphant note.
