Flags of nations not at war with Germany, including Turkey, Switzerland, USSR, Norway and Japan, fly outside the Ring-Messhaus, where autumn Trade Fair has attracted twenty-one national exhibitions despite the war. Main streets are crowded and decked with banners. Man cycles on a tandem with his children. Inside the Fair many visitors from Greater Germany admire materials, dynamo lights and a radiogram, while figure of five thousand foreign buyers testifies to the economic development of Germany. Germans step down from Spanish coach of Colegio Aleman and give sloppy heils. Men receive gifts of clothing, while patients in German hospital receive bouquets from girls in the uniform of the Bund deutscher Mädel.

Engine room scenes and two Type VII U-boats, one with bow cutter, submerging and surfacing during exercise.

XII. German bombers attack Britain. Stukas are pulled out of hangars and camouflage netting is removed from nose of Dornier Do 215 reconnaissance plane and Heinkel He 111 bomber. Bombs are loaded before Bf 110, He 111 and Ju 87 prepare for take-off, followed by Bf 109E fighter. Planes cross Channel, passing low over chalk cliffs, and Stukas fly over strip-farmed countryside (unlike England) before releasing bombs. He 111s release bombs over town causing visible explosions. Commentary enumerates wide variety of military targets attacked as Britain at long last experiences war on her own territory.
