I. A Kaiser class battleship with gun turrets trained to port and smoke emerging from her funnels, is filmed at sea from a vessel lying astern. A group of civilians is visible on deck. [Torpedo defence nets, obsolescent by 1914, imply an early date, ca 1913.]

II. Travelling shot from a train along a railway line passing a station in summer. Oarsman rows beneath a railway bridge over a river. View of the underside of a locomotive, and the locomotive depositing ash. Railwayman opens front of locomotive to shovel out ash. Long goods train travelling across country. Locomotive drawing single passenger coach. View of cameraman with his assistant together sitting on a boom fixed to the locomotive shows how some of these railway travelling shots were presumably filmed. [ca 1940]
