IV. "Gen Special - RAF Warfront: the Battle of Normandy." Troops land on beaches "under the shield of the RAF", and the striking force assembles: ground traffic control at Banville/Grépan crossroads. Improvised airfields constructed for Spitfires, Mustangs, Typhoons. Rockets are fitted to Typhoons, which are seen in action - special emphasis on exploits of Group Captain Morris (?) A Typhoon crash lands on one wheel. Lancasters and Halifaxes bomb the Falaise 'pocket'. Wrecked equipment and dead or wounded troops of General von Kluge's army litter the roads from Falaise.
