Short impressionistic account of life on HMS Raleigh shore station.

Film consists largely of short scenes with no linking commentary, largely of training: these include a scene in which a young WREN cadets has a friendly conversation with the Divisional Officer (J Clapham) about her likes and dislikes regarding the course. Also featured are scenes of sports (badminton, swimming), parade training, gas exercise, sailing, needlework class, fire fighting exercise, PT. Senior officer addresses the cadets before the passing out parade.
