The film opens with shots of some aircraft in flight (Beagle B206; Hawker P-1127 in formation with Hunter; Folland Gnat), an aerial view and general film of the show, and film of some craft in the ground display (DH-125; Trident; VC-10; P-1127) before showing more film from the flying display. 3 Westland Helicopters (Wessex and Whirlwind); a Beagle-built WA-116 single seat miniature helicopter; a Vulcan flies over; Handley Page HP-115 and Bristol Type 118 research aircraft; the Hawker P-1127 (in NATO Squadron markings) demonstrates short take-off, hovering, vertical landing; RAF freefall parachute team jumps from an Argosy (including film from inside the 'plane as they jump); the VC10 takes off; formation aerobatics display by 92 Squadron (Blue Diamonds) Hunters, and Lightnings of 74 Squadron (joint formation); AOC Fighter Command Sir Douglas Morris watching); the De Havilland DH-125, Blackburn Buccaneer, Handley Page Herald and De Havilland Trident are all also seen in flight.
